Internet access!!!!!
by anjacksonAt last some time to breathe and be creative away from the chaos of the school surroundings!
I have been trying out many applications and coming with ideas about their use in school.
To do this I have had to buy a mobile internet connection (long story) and went all the way and bought myself a mobile phone as well. Feel like I have been well and truly dragged into the 21st century.
I am still trying to get my head around the idea of blogging. It seems like I am typing to myself!!

Don’t worry, there are people out here reading and listening! Thanks for your comment on my blog – as you can see, leaving comments on other blogs of interest is often a good way of gaining readers! It’s great to hear about your experiments – I look forward to seeing some results of these on your blog. Perhaps you could embed an animoto video, or a voki, or you could reflect on some of the ideas you have had so far. I look forward to seeing the fruits of your labour!

You are not talking to yourself. Maintaining a reflective journal like this can hep you see where you have come from and how far you have come in terms of experimenting. Try to post ideas and thoughts. Test things ot and post the results of your experimenting. There are several staff who are keeping an eye on the blogs and who will feed ideas to you and comment. It is always exciting to read the blogs of participants because we are all learning and your ideas push our understanding. Please try to refer to the ttpcohort1 blog as often as you can as we aim to put up new ideas on there.
I will be issuing challenges in the next few days and hope that you will enter some outcomes. Try to have some break and also enjoy experimenting.

Hi and thanks for the replies! Yes, am planning the best ways to incorporate all this technology in a high impact way in the faculty, and creating a student blog will be done this week when I can do everything well!! Created a Voki but I could not embed it/upload it to the blog – will have another go tomorrow! I think to do things in a way to get the kids involved and using the blog means a bit of planning. I don’t want them to be switched off by something boring but also I don’t want to suddenly announce blgging and it dies out after a week!! I am ploughing through all the sites. Enjoy the Bank Holiday!!
